The Water Supply Company Drenthe (WMD) supports the foundation Aqua for All. This foundation is devoted to supplying good drinking water and waste water provisions. Aqua for All cooperates with all Dutch aid organisations such as Unicef, NOVIB, ICCO, Simavi, Amref Flying doctors and Memisa.

Experience combined with know-how
All these organisations have years of experience in the field of aid projects in third world countries. Optimal use is made in projects of the expertise and experience of the aid organisations combined with the know-how from the water sector.

Pilot project
The project “Water for the Masaai” serves as a pilot project and is continuing, with help and support from Aqua for All. With the aid of sponsors and benefactors, the WMD continues to support and guide the project financially.

Driving forces
The driving forces behind Aqua for All are the Koninklijke Vereniging voor Waterleidingbelangen in Nederland [Royal Association for Water supply in the Netherlands] (KVWN) and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Waterbeheer NVA [Dutch Association for Water Management].
